This will be my last blog before Christmas.

I’m writing this as I prepare to step down for Christmas. This is my first over-the-Christmas period since I started blogging, and I know that some more hardened blogging types will continue through the festive period, but not me.

I feel it only right and proper to give it a rest until we all resume in early Jan. I promise you won’t miss any ‘this week I am mostly wearing,’ specials because in the country where I shall be hosting a large family gathering I will be wearing an apron and when I go outside Wellingtons (albeit fuscia pink ones).
