This week I am mostly wearing Gareth Pugh

OK so what do you wear when you have a very large catwalk show to present?

In fact as you can see it’s the largest in Europe. Every 90 minutes an audience of 6000 people come through to watch, and an enormous gig like that needs something special!

Well there is only one thing in my book. And it’s next season’s spring summer look from one of the most exciting designers in this country Gareth Pugh.

Get a load of this beauty snapped moments before I hit the stage of the Clothes Show Live, which is still running for the next three days (Mon, Tues and Wed at Birmingham’s N.E.C).

Despite Gareth having a reputation for hard core Avant-Garde I’m looking very classic doncha think? I’ve added a pair of Georgina Goodman shoes to keep it all monochrome rather than the edgy platforms that the designer provided to accompany the dress and I’m good to go.

My youngest was gutted that I didn’t make the effort to do the whole look, but said platforms despite being very comfy are strictly limousine shoes.

The NEC is a massive place with so much walking between the fashion theatre and the press room to give interviews about the event and it being the 20th anniversary this year (and so little time to get there) that I decided to opt for more workable shoe in this instance.

Instead I got Roseby herself to model them.

Is she the youngest Gareth Pugh fan? I’m thinking she is!

Amazing dress, it looks fab. Shoes are also amazing although maybe a little difficult for Roseby to run around with her friends!!!
Take a look at my blog http://www.thefashionfixstyling.blogspot.com and http://www.thefashionfix.co.uk for more comfortable party dressing ideas.

Ah yes thanks for that girls. Well Roseby is a natural I’ve got to say – completely unpromted by me.

She even styled up her sheperd’s outfit in the nativity play to have a layered look rather than the straight tunic effect.

I think she will be going into the family business!
