Karl Lagerfeld wins my “crap comment of the year,” award this time round.

His latest take on intelligent reactions to models that are uniformly thin, is to say that it’s only “mummies who watch daytime TV and eat crisps,” that have this opinion.

Actually luv, there are plenty of us out there. In fact you are surrounded by women like me, who take exception to your need to see child-like waifs modelling expensive clothes in some kind of fashion porn. Let’s have some variety. Sure I like the odd bag of Kettles, sea salt and cider vinegar, hand cut crisps – who doesn’t?

Feeling good about your body and knowing what clothes suit your shape is part of having confidence in your own shape. Seeing a variety of models some curvaceous, some older in short some variety would also be great for morale.

So here’s a great shot taken by international model Erin O’Connor with Nick Knight assisting –yes only one of the world’s top fashion photographers ladies! It’s the group shot of all the models we worked with in All Walks Beyond the Catwalk. They range in sizes 8-18 and 18-65. What’s not to like Karl?
