Naomi and me

If there is a message from this picture it has to be… don’t have your photo taken with a super model, you’ll live to regret it.

Only in as much as one of us is tall, blessed with outstanding bone structure and waxy ebony skin and the other is well… er…none of those.

Anyway Naomi and I go way back ( I styled her first ever front cover actually) and I was catching up with her at Guy’s hospital where she made a supportive appearance to help us launch the new breast cancer unit that Fashion Targets Breast Cancer (the campaign I co-chair with designer Amanda Wakeley) and other Breakthrough campaigns have helped to build.

I’m not going to use this moment to talk about fashion and clothes in any other way than to say these are the sorts of event that make me feel proud to be part of the fashion industry which is after all a powerful vehicle for communicating to women about more important stuff like health.

Have a great weekend – and celebrate all that you are!

I think that you look great, even standing next to a super model!
