I’m using this post to double up because I want to talk about our tanning habits as well as give my usual outfit commentary.
Any way, having never had a go on a sunbed I’m delighted that I don’t have to add it to my list of worrying things I did as a youngster that will come back and bite me when I am least expecting it.
I am therefore backing anything that promotes an alternative to frying your skin cells in pursuit of an all over even skin colour, which is what I’m doing here with my friends Sam and Amanda from Big Brother, Mat from Holly Oaks, Anthony from Blue and others for Radio Clyde.
Scottish women love a bit of ‘Malibu,’ colouring…unfortunately at the expense of their health, so I was in Glasgow last week courtesy of ‘Fake Bake,’ to help bring awareness about skin health alternative, (but without my laptop hence the late post)!
Anyway, I am wearing bare legs and a knee length hemline (those of you who have read my ageless style e-book know my styling tricks for looking good over 40). And I am resplendent in leg foundation: Sally Hansen and tinted body lotion: Johnson and Johnson, both of which I’m recommending ladies now that the sun is promting you to think about your skin tone.

Ok that bit done let’s get on to the dress. Red label: Vivienne Westwood and not even a sale item. Yes I was super impressed buy the affordability so I snapped it up and have been enjoying the pence-per-wear satisfaction ever since (also explained in my ageless style) as well as a general all over chuffed-with-myself vibe because I’ve worn it loads of times already.
Sadly I’m holding up show notes or you could see the adorable cowl like neckline so perfect for flattering my shape but don’t worry I’ll get a better picture another time.
Anyway I thought you should see this dress early on in the season to give you time to buy one yourself!
