Clothing Features – the jacket

After promising on Facebook that I would go over the rudiments of understanding how to recognise the features on clothes, I feel duty bound to post within the hour, to make up for my Easter chocolate sabbatical.

So let’s talk  jackets…a necessary outer layer for this time of year. Yours might be suede and pale heather as per this Wallis jacket I found. But it might not.

The key thing here is that in assessing any jacket’s merits you see a whole host of figure fixing possibilities.

This one offers…

A fitted shape that will give great  streamlining for curvy and shapes.

Wide lapel features perfect for balancing out a larger bust or tummy.

A concealed fastening that creates the look of streamlining the body.

A low neckline that will be flattering for a large bust.

This will be the first in a series, so stay tuned for more style tips, or if you want to  to know more about choosing figure fixing clothes fast and can’t be arsed to wait, then download the shape e-book I wrote especially for you!
