Clothing Features – the Trench

OK time for part two of your body shape awareness guide as promised on Facebook, Have a look at this New Look Trench and let’s start with the body shape tips for today.

Apart from giving you a nice dash of military on trend-ness to add to your jeans and being the perfect outer-layer for any nautical styling moments, remember the features on an item of clothing are what you are assessing. This would suit pear-shapes and slender types read on for more insight.

So let’s see now…

Double breasted feature good for slight and tall figures to create width across the body.

Particularly helpful for pear-shapes to create width at top of body  to balance out hips.

Ruffles on shoulder will will give narrow shoulders more volume.

Cinch it all in and give same colour belt the chance to elongate your torso making you appear more streamlined.

Top heavy figures should avoid.
