However whether we like it or not, fashion imagery is highly influential. Seeing this flesh is healing however, we have seen too many stripped bare fashion pics emaciated women. Will check out Kira's piece didn't get round to reading it on Saturday. I think the model is unreservedly gorgeous and the photograph is beautiful but the US based magazine who comissioned this and other pictures for its January issue seem to concentrate on unclothed models to the point of fetishisation. I'd point you in the direction of the Article "Young, Fat and Fabulous" by Kira Cochrane in the Guardian of Sat 30th January for a more vibrant take on this issue. I have mixed feelings.
