It’s summer so it must be time for the fur-lined Sergio Rossi Wellington boots. Which as you can see are extremely versatile for fashionable existence on the North Pole

Yes I am wearing them on a regular basis and when I bought them this winter from the Bicester Village, designer outlet Treasure Trove I had not idea I would still be reaching for them in June.

But then I had no idea that at 53 I would still be wearing pigtails either…some style man oeuvres will surprise ya right?

The moral of this photograph is that the results of a speed buying spree – as both these items  (the other a Benetton goose down coat bought in Genoa) were, is not always an unnecessary excise in wardrobe management.

I count amongst my clothes, many items bought within 5 second of seeing and trying. Some of my favourites were bought when I had only moments to shop. IN and OUT that’s me!

It’s the same with my umbrella UP and DOWN!
