Bridal – Glamorous wedding dresses

With women who want the perfect red carpet wedding, choosing from so many glamorous wedding gowns to suit your body shape, theme and venue can be difficult.

Designers Below you will see all the beautiful and glamorous bridal gowns that embody both style and comfort. With more ceremonies taking place at evening venues and with the influence of red carpet dressing on bridal wear, this next section shows a style of dress that has that glamorous edge:

glamorous dress

Red carpet style, glamorous wedding dress we’re talking about. Dramatically cut, it has a nocturnal glamour which looks sleek and sophisticated. It’s a great style for standard shaped women and creates a lengthening line through the body. www.eddyk.com

glamorous dress

Fifties trend glamorous wedding gowns are so popular on the catwalk incorporated within it to give it a real va va vroom factor. The style by Justin Alexander and is perfect for curvy shapes as well as standard and tall women. www.justinalexanderbridal.com

glamorous dress

There are even glamorous wedding dresses for tall women. Why? Because the bow at the waist creates a focus at the centre of the body and the horizontal line across the bodice does so also. It’s a gorgeous gorgeous dress isn’t it? Remember, lines that go across the body create the feeling of width and this counteracts perfectly, the long vertical line that a tall body creates. glamorous dress

A glamorous wedding dress that has a ‘first lady’ look and is perfect for petites who can create the illusion of height by elongating the look of their body. With all the detail at the top of the body as well as an empire line dress (seam just under the bust) legs will look longer too.

To ensure that you look and feel beautiful on your big day, it’s not just about glamorous wedding dresses. You also need sophisticated make up and hairstyle to complete your look. Here are some of my tips on how to look good:

  • Always have a practice run before the big day, especially if you’re using a hairdresser and make up artist

  • Have your hair dressed as early as possible to let your skin recover from the heat of the hair dryer or tongs.

  • Don’t forget to pay attention to your ears if you’re putting your hair up. A small dab of foundation on lobes will make a big difference.

  • Statement jewellery with an evening gala theme will easily compliment this style of dress.

  • Be aware that beaded gowns are heavy and potentially tiring. Wear your intended dress in the changing room for longer than usual to check how it feels before you commit.
