Autumn or fall 2005 boots and wide-width boots. You want to know what to buy.

Your questions on autumnal styles are coming thick and fast and you all love the autumn or fall 2005 trends for their easy-to-wear simplicity. Now that we’ve explained how the trends work in ‘catwalk looks’ and how you will see them in your shops in ‘high street looks’ (access both from the home page) you are inspired to get your autumn wardrobe organised.

This month I’ve taken the five most asked questions and answered them with my recommendations of great styles for you, available to buy online now. Your key gripe is autumn or fall 2005 boots not fitting curvy legs, so where can you get wide-width boots? Well read on...

Question:
Where can I find knee-high boots to fit my curvy legs?

This is by far the biggest issue for so many of you so Autumn or fall 2005 boots and wide-width boots are what you all want to buy and a good move too. I’m starting my feature with the best piece of fashion information I have in my possession and I know you will want to pass it on.

This season’s knee-high styles are all you need to wear with jeans (cropped or otherwise), culottes and cropped trousers and knee length skirts and dresses, as well as folksy tiered skirts. In fact this could be your key purchase this autumn. Invest in a pair of good-looking round-toed boots and wear with some funky tights and you will be bang on trend.

The Good News
Duo is offering a great range of styles from fashion forward round toes,
to the classic point, stacked heels and everything in between. But the best news of all, is that you can order your boot to fit a calf width of between 30cms to 50 cms, at prices that compare with the high street. So for wide width styles for fuller calves and also slim width styles for slender calves, Visit this great site with easy to use design now.

Caryn says ‘A knee-high boot in the same colour as your skirt or cropped trousers, will always make your legs look longer. To know more about working with your body shape, down load an e-book individually written by me for your specific body type.’

Question:
Are wrap dresses still in?

Since Diane Von Furstenberg opened her shop in West London and re-launched her classic wrap dress on the catwalk, women from every corner of the fashion globe have enjoyed this classic design that works so well for curvy and tall figures as well standard and petite shapes.

The fashion pack might have moved on to empire line styles with the waist pulled in just under the bust, but the wrap is still with us. The reason they are still so popular is because they are cut to flatter, and can be updated with this season’s latest accessories – the knee-high boot and cropped cardigan. This style of dress, shown here by Boden, is extremely flattering and works well in plain colours with a court shoe for an office situation, but can be worn with a pattern and with boots or dressy shoes for a casual even a special occasion. I have one that I intend to keep wearing this winter with a skinny rib polo neck underneath!

Caryn says ‘Curvy figures can add a Lycra vest with lace or plain edging underneath a wrap dress for extra security. To know more about working with your body shape, down load an e-book individually written by me for your specific body type.’

Question:
What makes a good coat?

I found this great coat from Laura Ashley and it ticks all the boxes. A coat is something to spend as much as you can afford on, because you will wear it everyday. My definition of a great coat is one that alludes to a trend in a subtle way, giving it a classic appeal and a look of quality. I love this style because it looks so sharp yet it has a retro feel – imagine a black skinny rib polo neck, black pencil skirt and boots. It is also perfect with jeans and cropped trousers.

The large rever collar will fold up to keep out the cold and the single-breasted style is universally flattering. One of the things I always advise when buying coats is check the lining, is it good quality? – This 80% wool coat has full satin lining – this will be reliably durable.

Caryn says a single-breasted coat creates a stream lining effect and creates the illusion of height. Those wishing to look taller can use this trick. To know more about working with your body shape, down load an e-book individually written by me for your specific body type.

Question:
How do I disguise my tummy when I’m wearing jeans?

Look for a top with plenty of volume in the front. This top by Asos is a perfect example of what I mean. See how the drape at the front, which ends in a point, not only streamlines and hides the tummy area but also creates a longer looking leg – this device works just as well for curvy thighs too!

There are plenty of styles in your shops this season that have drapes and extra fabric falling from the bust to cover the tummy. Added to that these styles are wonderfully feminine. Enjoy!

Caryn says. Our new Apple- shaped e-books are ready and offer plenty of ways to choose flattering clothes for those of you who feel you are all tummy so… to know more about working with your body shape, down load an e-book individually written by me for your specific body type.’

Question:
Where can I find a dressy, cropped coat?

Many of you don’t want the military cropped jackets that go so well with casual styles, so after a quick but of surfing, I have found this boucle cropped coat, that is not only striking but also very versatile. It has a sophisticated styling to it and would work perfectly with black cocktail dress or leather pencil skirt, even culottes, (add blue shoes for a swanky catwalk take) but if you need to tone it down, because it is so loosely structured, your jeans and knee high boots will work wonderfully and be given a luxurious finish when you wear this style coat.

For a coat like this to work well, pare down your dressing so that you don’t have too many layers on underneath. The belt at the waist needs to be pulled snug to be flattering.

Caryn says ‘this coat is a flattering shape for most body types but, curvy petites beware! To know more about working with your body shape, down load an e-book individually written by me for your specific body type.’
