Caryn co founded this project in 2009 with Erin O’Connor and Debra Bourne to promote a broader range of beauty than is normally seen in our media and has worked on it exhaustively for almost two years. Featured here are some of the latest set of images shot by Rankin who collaborated with well-known names in British Design including Vivienne Westwood, Stella McCartney, Giles Deacon, Hussein Chalayan and many more.

The 9 Rankin portraits were showcased at the National Portrait Gallery in February 2011 along with a debate which Caryn chaired: ‘Is Fashion the Lens through which we Evaluate Identity,’ it was attended by Lynne Featherstone Gov. Minister for Equalities, Dr Linda Papadopoulos, and many other luminaries and attracted a record crowd of 4000 visitors.

This campaign was shot for i-D Magazine by Kayt Jones in September 2009 and featured emerging names like Hannah Marshall, William Tempest, David Koma and Mark Fast who received global press for later putting the curvy model Hayley Morley on his catwalk.

Jane has been senior fashion producer in this popular channel 4 fashion programme since its early days and is responsible for co-ordinating hundreds of TV make-overs. She has a wonderful way with women and can put any one at ease.

Jane has also been senior fashion producer for the channel 4 programme affectionately known as ‘Naked.’ She is Gok’s right hand woman and has produced all the behind the scenes fashion so that on-screen it runs effortlessly.
2007 -2009
Caryn worked with plus size retailer Simply Be to create a premium range for 4 seasons featuring designs that had more catwalk edge. Her shoe range became a regular best seller.

Caryn loved this job because it gave her the chance to create a premium range for curvaceous women.
She and Jane created how to videos promoting the range each season.
